Travel & Venue

Venue: Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute
Venue: 6666 Saint-Urbain St, Montreal, Quebec H2S 3H1

YUL Airport

  • Taxi / Rideshare: A flat rate usually applies for downtown, but Mila is in the Mile-Ex/Little Italy area. Expect a metered fare of approximately $45-$60 CAD.
  • Public Transit (747 Bus): Take the 747 Express Bus from the arrivals terminal to Lionel-Groulx Metro. Enter the Metro and take the Orange Line (direction Montmorency). Get off at Beaubien station. From there, it is a 15-minute walk west, or take Bus 18 or 160.

From Downtown / Metro Access

  • Metro (Orange Line): The closest frequent stop is Beaubien or Jean-Talon.
  • Metro (Blue Line): The absolute closest station is De Castelnau (Blue Line), which is a 5-minute walk from Mila. Transfer to the Blue line at Jean-Talon station.
  • Bus: The 55 (Saint-Laurent) and 80 (Du Parc) run north-south and stop very close to the institute.

Recommended Hotels

Exploring Montreal

While you are in the neighborhood, we recommend exploring:
  • Jean Talon Market: One of North America's largest open-air public markets. Great for local produce and snacks.
  • Mile End: Famous for Montreal-style bagels (St-Viateur Bagel and Fairmount), coffee shops, and indie bookstores.
  • Mount Royal Park: A short bus ride away (80 (Du Parc)), offering the best views of the city skyline.
  • Old Montreal: Accessible via the Orange Line (Place-d'Armes station) for historic architecture and the port.
